Our current puppies have a famous pedigree full of "who's who" relatives in the Dog Show World.
Below is a photo of Best In Show Ch Ridge View Call My Bulff winning the Eukanuba National. He has the same Grandsire (Ch Ridge View Bugs Bunny) as our current litter and is the Sire of our primary stud: AKC Champion RIdge View Sailor
. Donna Reece puts out one quality dog after another and has been for the last 30 years. After going to dog shows, hunting and field trials we chose her RIdge View line to be the basis of our yellow labrador retriever lines. We also like Sylive Miron in Quebec for both exceptional chocolates and yellows. I can't say enough about the quality and consistency coming from both these excellent kennels. Sailor & Ace or Sailor & Nelly or Sailor & Joker combinations can put out litters that mostly look like cookie cutter carbon copies of themselves. Half the time we have trouble telling them apart. They all test well (not afraid of loud noises, can put them on their back and they relax fairly quickly in that position, extremely easy to train and teach to sit, come, etc.). It is important to begin training before 3 months when the puppies hit their "fear period" and they need to go out and be exposed to everything you would expect them to be exposed to as an adult. They should always be rewareded only when all 4 feet are on the ground (teach them not to jump this way). This means do not call the dog to jump up on you and then pet it. The puppy should only be pet in a stand or better yet sit position. When you get the puppy to sit and give him a treat he is learning that you are his leader and is submitting to you. This will make your life easier.
Incredible blood lines combined with puppy kindergarten, socialization and obedience will lead to an wonderful experience for both your loved pet and family.
